| Job Description: |
Key Responsibilities:
- CHWs will work at Household levels to conduct day to day SBCC and health education about disease prevention through lifestyle modification, early detection of warning signs in pregnancy, post childbirth and in children and facilitation for referrals.
- Counseling on maternal and child Health and Nutrition, routine immunization and WASH etc.
- Identification and registration of WRAs/adolescents, pregnant, women, neonates and children under 5.
- Growth monitoring of children under 5 and screening for malnutrition.
- Registration of community members using iodized salt, safe /improved water, having proper sanitation facilities.
- Data collection on health seeking behaviors and harmful practices.
- Identify eligible population and conduct field based activities as per work plan (like MHUs. immunization and screening campsetc )
Minimum Requirement
Qualification:
- HSSC, preferably in science subjects experience of working with Lady Health Worker’s Program (NP for FP&PHC) EPI or ComNet etc. Must be local and fluent in Pashtu, familiar with cultural & religious sensitivity of Pashtun culture and challenges for polio eradication.
