We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality video content for our organization. The video editor will be involved in all stages of the video production process, from conceptualization to post-production, and will work collaboratively with the creative team to ensure the delivery of visually appealing and engaging content. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of video editing software, visual storytelling, and motion graphics.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the creative team to produce high-quality video content
• Edit raw footage into compelling videos, ensuring consistency of branding, messaging, and tone
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video
• Add effects, transitions, and sound effects to enhance the quality of the video
• Work with sound designers, animators, and graphic designers to ensure the final product is visually appealing and engaging
• Compress video files for web delivery and upload content to various platforms, such as YouTube and Vimeo
• Stay up to date with video editing trends and software updates to ensure the best quality videos

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a video editor
• Proficient in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling and motion graphics
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
• A creative eye for video composition and design
• Knowledge of video codecs, file types, and file compression techniques
• A portfolio of work showcasing your video editing skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Multimedia, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
