Job Description: |
Job Purpose Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Financial professional that will analyze financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Responsible for the Company's Financial Planning to optimize financial performance and strategic position.
- Work closely with upper management to fully contribute to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business
- Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis
- Oversee operations of the accounting department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
- Establish guidelines for budget and forecast preparation and prepare the annual budget in consultation with upper management.
- Ensure that company financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth.
- Develop, implement and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity, disposals and acquisitions, as appropriate.
- Coordinate, analyze and report the financial performance to Management
- Present annual accounts to investors.
- Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
- Maintain company’s cash flow and ensure proper coordination with delivery teams to ensure deliveries are not delayed to an extent where cash flow of the company is disturbe
Qualifications:
BS/MBA degree in Finance or Accounting. Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
Energetic, highly motivated, with an enquiring mind and passion for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success. You must have a passion for getting things done, and an appreciation for details.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in the Finance Sector with strong business acumen
- Working knowledge of all tax laws, statutory legislation and regulations
- Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and market patterns
- Proficient user of finance software, spreadsheets, databases and MS Office
- Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
- Previous experience of working for a Pakistan based software firm will be an added plus
- High integrity and openness combined with commitment to good governance
