Job Description:

Overview

The Cash Assistant is responsible for the implementation and follow up of the project activities related with the CfW modality, ensuring the provision of the required inputs to the beneficiaries, supervise distribution of CfW tools, Cash distribution process and organizing orientation sessions. The Cash Assistant will work in collaboration with the social mobilization team to increase the effectiveness of interventions.

Objective 1

To support the efficient and timely implementation of FSL (Cfw and associated) activities

Tasks & responsibilities

·          To facilitate community mobilization team in introducing CfW activities in the community.

·          To facilitate community mobilization team in explaining and following the process for the selection criteria to ensure transparent selection of beneficiaries.

·          To support the PQA team in the verification of the beneficiaries to ensure the identification and selection of the most vulnerable population;

·          To facilitate communities in identification of CfW schemes as per communal needs. 

·          To lead the process of CfW tools distribution through planning and maintain records of the distribution.

·          To ensure that CfW activities are integrated with WASH interventions as per project design.

·          To ensure progress monitoring of the CfW related work as per project plan and document/report the progress as required.

·          To lead the process of CfW payments at the completion of activities.

·          To collect the information required during assessments and surveys;

·          To support the preparation of documentation required for the implementation of CfW activities

·          To support other FSL activities as directed by IDPM.

Objective 2

Reporting and Documentation

Tasks & responsibilities

·          To produce activity reports linked with CfW activities which includes scheme identification reports duly vetted by the VPC, progress reports and scheme completion reports.

·          To ensure clean documentation as per compliance, submission to respective departments such as finance, logistics and keep also keep record for program team.

·          To report any changes in the context to allow for timely changes in the project activities.

·          To collect and report any new security information, incident or any change of the context to the Field Supervisor;

·          To respect the security guidelines as set in the Security Plan.

 

Internal & External relationships

Internal

·          IDPM, Community mobilizers, Other programs staff, Support staff

External

·          Main program stakeholders in daily exchange of information related with activities including beneficiaries, government line agencies and relevant clusters.

 

 

REPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES

·          Activity Progress Reports, as required by IDPM
