Key Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Management:
   • Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
   • Implement standard operating procedures for receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
   • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
2. Labour Handling:
   • Manage and assign tasks to warehouse laborers, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
   • Provide guidance and training to staff on warehouse processes, loading/unloading techniques, and safety measures.
   • Resolve any labor-related issues effectively and maintain a positive work environment.
3. Inventory Management:
   • Monitor stock levels and ensure accurate record-keeping of inbound and outbound goods.
   • Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with recorded data.
   • Maintain accurate records of damaged, missing, or surplus stock and report discrepancies to the manager.
4. Reporting to Manager:
   • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock levels, labor performance, and shipment status.
   • Provide insights and recommendations to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce operational costs.
5. Stock Management:
   • Track the movement of goods and maintain up-to-date records of stock-in and stock-out activities.
   • Ensure proper labeling and storage of goods to facilitate easy identification and retrieval.
   • Coordinate with the procurement team for stock replenishment and timely ordering of materials.
6. Team Management:
   • Lead a team of warehouse staff, providing clear instructions and monitoring performance.
   • Assign duties based on skill levels and operational priorities.
   • Foster a culture of teamwork and encourage open communication among team members.
7. Warehouse Supervision:
   • Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
   • Monitor loading and unloading processes to ensure accuracy and safety.
   • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and maintain warehouse equipment.
8. Loading and Offloading Processes:
   • Supervise the loading and offloading of goods to ensure proper handling and prevent damage.
   • Verify shipment quantities against purchase orders and report discrepancies immediately.
9. Shipment Coordination:
   • Coordinate with courier companies and logistics partners to track shipment status.
   • Follow up on delayed or missing shipments and provide timely updates to the manager.
   • Maintain records of shipment documentation and courier receipts for future reference.
