Job Description: |
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new clients (truck drivers and small fleet owners) who need professional dispatch services. Your role is to build strong relationships, explain our services, and close deals that drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
Prospect and generate leads through cold calls, online outreach, industry forums, and social media.
Explain dispatch services clearly and professionally to truck drivers and owner-operators.
Understand customer needs and recommend service solutions that match their business goals.
Maintain and grow a pipeline of prospects and consistently follow up to close deals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage long-term engagement.
Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.
Provide feedback to improve sales scripts, strategies, and service offerings.
Requirements:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in logistics, transportation, or trucking services.
Knowledge of U.S. trucking industry, load boards, or dispatching (preferred but not required).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently.
Fluent in English (Spanish or other language skills are a plus).
Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM tools or spreadsheets.
Compensation:
Base salary (35k to 50k) + Commission (or commission-only structure)
Bonuses for exceeding sales targets
